Mr. John C. Shute age 59 of Ellijay died Saturday December 26, 2015.

Mr. Shute was born October 21, 1956 in Ft. Smith, KY. He worked in the  construction industry as a sub-contractor. He was preceded in death by his father  Harold Shute.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Josh and Christina Shute, Ellijay,  daughter and son-in law; Mary Katherine and Justin Douglas, Williston, FL.,  mother, Katie Mc Goldrich, Memphis, TN , brother; Buddy Shute, AK, sister, Patty Belt, Memphis, TN. 4 grandchildren ,several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 10:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the John Shute Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 466 Ellijay, GA, 30540.
