Join us for this week’s story “If I Ran the Circus” All ages welcome. Both Story time and LapSit are excellent ways to strengthen your children’s literacy skills, and all stories are always followed by a simple craft you can complete with your child.

Ancestry & Heritage Quest Tutorial
These two genealogy databases are free to use inside the library, and we will demonstrate how you can use them to jumpstart your research. An active library card is required.

Lunch & Learn Knitting
Wednesday, March 2 @ 12:00 PM
Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! It’s OK if can’t come to all the meetings. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color. This is a “drop in when you can” event.
Master Gardener Series – Ephemerals

Master Gardener, Karen Hyde, will be discussing native Ephemerals. Ephemeral means lasting for a brief time. They have adapted to grow, produce flowers, and set seed in a relatively short period of time. Karen will show us what plants to look for and when they will be make their brief appearance
