The Gilmer County Board of Commissioners met Monday, with the special called meeting revolving solely around an executive session.

The Commissioners returned from the executive session to take public action and exercise the due diligence on a contract for purchasing property at 220 South Gilmer. The Commissioners are exercising this contract to no longer pursue the purchase. With a motion and vote, the commissioners made it an official statement of no more interest for the purchase.
