Join us for this week’s story “Bath Time Fun” All ages welcome. Both Story Time and LapSit are excellent ways to strengthen your children’s literacy skills, and all stories are always followed by a simple craft you can complete with your child.
Puppet Show

The Puppet Show “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is presented by teen and tween volunteers. The Puppet Show is followed by a simple craft. Kids 9 and under with adult supervision please.

Computer Skills

Do computers make you nervous? Are you not sure how to find webpages on the Internet? If answered yes to these questions, this class is definitely for you. This free class usually fills up early so call the library to register. An active library card is required.
Lunch & Learn Knitting
Wednesday, April 20 @ 12:00 PM
Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! Its OK if can’t come to all the meetings. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color. This is a “drop in when you can” event.
The Friends of the Library Bookshelf
Science, nature, careers, crafts, music, & sports! The Bookshelf is offering another group of very gently used ex-library books for kids. They are perfect for fun reading or home-schooling whether you have tots or young teens. These books are all priced at just $.50.
Take a look at the “last chance” shelves where our inventory of half-priced books is refreshed weekly. You can put your payment for these books in the donations box if the Bookshelf is closed.
