Mrs. Beatrice G. Rice, age 83 of Ellijay died Wednesday July 13, 2016.  Mrs. Rice was born February 12,1933 in Pickens County the daughter of the late Grady and Julie Craver Gibson. She was a homemaker and member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Pickens County.

Survivors include: Husband: Robert “Sonny” Rice , sons: Donnie Bramlett, Ellijay, Ronnie Bramlett, Calhoun, Ricky Bramlett, Hinton, Wanda Wilson, Talking Rock, step-children; Carol Posey, Wendy Ash and Tony Rice all of Chatsworth, sister: Lillie Henderson, Dallas, TX, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00pm from Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Donald McClure officiating.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 1pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
