The Optimist Club will be outside at Walmart in East Ellijay on July 29th and 30th collecting school supplies or cash donations. Gilmer’s goal is to fill two school buses with school supplies for the students and teachers of Gilmer County.

Included in our Stuff the Bus  drive, Chick-fil-A will be sponsoring Family Night/Back to School on July 26 from 5:00 to 8:00. Face painting, a bounce house and more will be there and you can bring 5 school supplies and get a FREE Chicken sandwich!

IHOP is proud to be supporting the Kids of Gilmer County with a special, if you bring in school supplies on July 21st and you’ll get a short stack of pancakes for $1.00.
