Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Lauren Cape and Lynda Decker will be your host and teacher. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! It’s OK if can’t come to all the meetings. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color.

Batman v. Superman

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice – It’s been nearly two years since Superman’s (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel. Open to All Ages. Refreshments will be served.

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

This week the Bookshelf has a large group of books suitable for homeschooling. There are textbooks, supplementary materials, classics, and DVDs. You’ll find them on a cart just outside the Bookshelf door – a great chance to purchase expensive items at bargain prices.
Thinking of donating books to the library? Do it now! The newer the books, the more likely they are to be added to the library’s collection. They will also be welcome at the Bookshelf and appreciated by our customers.
