Mr. Charles Ronnie Bass age 72 of the Eagle Mountain Community of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. He was born Monday, May 15, 1944 in Eastman, Georgia.Mr. Bass was a graduate of Dodge County High School and was the Warehouse Supervisor with Fox Rowden McBrayer Inc. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include wife of 49 years, Lorene Stanley Bass of the home in Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law Lynne & Pat Tanner of Alma, GA; niece and in-law Jodie & Bubba Simmons of Alma, GA; nephew and in-law Shane & Debra Tanner of Alma, GA; great-nieces Allie Joe Lynn Tanner and Graycen Ann Tanner.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with the Min. Butch Jones officiating and Speaker Pat Tanner. Military Rites will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard. Interment will be in Pisgah Church of Christ Cemetery, Ellijay, GA.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Logan Funeral Home.
