Mr. Clifford Charlie DeFoor, age65 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Wednesday evening, November 2, 2016, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.

Mr. DeFoor was born January 1, 1951 in Ellijay, Georgia to his late parents Hershel Elmer and Belva Coloma Sanford DeFoor. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a skidder driver for Randy McClure Logging. Charlie is preceded in death by his sister, Imogene Davis and brother Wilmer DeFoor.

Survivors include daughter Jody Lynn Davis of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law Wilburn and Gail DeFoor and James and Teresa DeFoor, all of Ellijay, GA; nephews, Willard Davis and Brent DeFoor; nieces, Lisa Lynne Reece and Cassie Fendley; 3 great nephews, 1 great niece also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 from the Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Chastain and Rev. Randy McClure officiating. Music will be by Ronald and Linda Hyde and Rev. Chris Chastain. Graveside interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Steven Payne, Arlin McClure, David Stover, Mitch Barnes, Brent DeFoor, L.E.Parks, Hershel DeFoor and Mickey Nelson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Logan Funeral Home.
