2016 Festival of Trees Celebration will be Monday, November 28th beginning at 6PM. Music, Santa, food, gifts, crafts and more will be available for all to enjoy!!!

Saturday Matinee – Finding Dory

Finding Dory. The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish begins a search for her long-lost parents, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way. Join us before the movie for Dory crafts. Free refreshments will be served!

Lunch & Learn Knitting
Wednesday, November 30 @ 12:00 PM
Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Lauren Cape and Lynda Decker will be your host and teacher. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! It’s OK if can’t come to all the meetings. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color
The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Come shop the Bookshelf for beautiful and inexpensive Christmas gifts. We collect especially beautiful and interesting books all year just for this weekly special. You’re guaranteed to find something for everyone on your list. Free gift-wrapping is also available during December.
Thinking of donating books to the library? Do it now! The newer the books, the more likely they are to be added to the library’s collection. They will also be welcome at the Bookshelf and appreciated by our customers.
Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from 12:00-2:00 on Saturdays
