Local award winning author, Kelly Bingham, will speak about a few of her books like Shark Girl & Z is for Moose. This event is a collaboration with Gilmer Arts. Refreshments will be available.

The Lego Crew
Saturday, December 10 @ 2:00 PM
Lego Crew has a different theme each month. Children can work alone or in teams to make their own special creations, which will be displayed at the library until the next month’s meeting. Lego Crew is open to anyone who want to participate

Adult Programs

Lunch & Learn Knitting
Wednesday, December 7 @ 12:00 PM
Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Lauren Cape and Lynda Decker will be your host and teacher. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! It’s OK if can’t come to all the meetings. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color.  If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Fun and good cheer are featured at the Bookshelf this week. Come in and pick up a holiday puzzle to share with your family or some happy fiction.

Thinking of donating books to the library?  Do it now!  The newer the books, the more likely they are to be added to the library’s collection.  They will also be welcome at the Bookshelf and appreciated by our customers.

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from 12:00-2:00 on Saturdays
