GHS Choir Graded Superior

Gilmer High School Choir brings home all ones as they put on an outstanding performance.

  This year the GHS Chorus Department attended Festival with a focused attitude. Determined to score high, they practiced intensely before their presentation.

Festival is a competition for schools from all around the North Georgia Region in which choirs get scored as a whole.

The GHS choir walked in with positive spirits and truly sang with their hearts. Karmyn Borden, choir member, spoke about the feeling stating, “You get this rush of excitement because the judges are telling all of us that we are superior! It’s such a great experience.

After the superior rank, the choir returned with a feeling of accomplishment and pride. It was the perfect grade for the heartfelt and exceptionally good performance.   All the practice and commitment paid off and awarded them with an extraordinary review.
