Master Gardeners: Make-n-Take
Saturday, November 17 @ 9:00 AM
Local beekeeper, Mary Lou Blohm, will present, “Beeswax, the foundation of the hive” discussing use of beeswax; in the Make-N-Take workshop, each pre-registered participant will decorate and go home with a wax globe. Workshop includes honey tasting and drawings for bottles of honey. $20 to attend with all materials provided. Pre-Registration Required – Pick up registration form at Ellijay Farmer’s Market, County Extension Office, or GCL. Registered class size limited to 15. Attendance is free for anyone wanting to attend.

TechBytes: Excel-ent

Excel is so useful. Plan to learn new ways to use the program. Make sure your library card is active before attending. Registration suggested. 706-635-4528

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Remember that the library welcomes donations of gently read books and magazines. Those that the library does not need come to the Bookshelf, with all the proceeds benefiting the library.  Do not forget to visit the “back room” of the Bookshelf for newly stocked non-fiction and magazines.  

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:30 on weekdays and from 12:00-2:00 on Saturdays
