Mountain View Elementary is excited to announce that we have adopted PBIS in our school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Our team consists of an administrator (Charles Walker), team leader (April Smith), coach (Tina Watkins) behavior specialist (Shelly Mayo), data analyst (Dawn Smith), recorder (Shay Wright), and a timekeeper/reporter (Joy Wingate). We meet once a month to discuss ways to improve our schools positive behavior. This program’s main focus is to make schools more effective learning environments by having predictable, consistent, positive and safe environments throughout the school. We are so excited to begin!
