Mrs. Ardis Weeks Reece, age 93, of Ellijay, died Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Mrs. Reece was born February 12, 1925, in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Will Weeks and Violet Ellis Weeks Whitaker. She was a housewife, cook for a child care business and a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church. Her parents and husband, Hoke Reece, son Rodney Reece, daughter, Cheryl Gill, sisters Arbutus Call, JoAnn Deaton, and brother Duff Whitaker, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son Alan Reece, Ellijay, and a daughter-in-law; Jamie Reece, Carrollton, 5 grandchildren, Ashley Gill, Todd, Chan, Josh and Chris Reece also survive.

Funeral servers will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Ridgeway Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
