Mr. Vick was born January 22, 1920, in Gilmer County the son of the late; Jasper Earl and Dessie Hensley Vick. He worked in the timber and farming industries, was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII and a member of the Berean Baptist Church.

His parents; wife Eudine Crump Vick, daughter, Edith Vick Padgett, grandsons; Travis Lynn Vick and Jason William Vick, siblings; J.C., Cleaburn, Alvin, Ervin and Garvin Vick and Marie Williams preceded him in death.

Survivors include: sons; Raymond Junior Vick, Stanley Vick and Robert Vick all of Ellijay, daughter; Glenda Mosteller, Chatsworth, brother; James Vick, Ellijay, 11 grandchildren,  20 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00pm from the Berean Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Interment will be in the Berean Baptist Church cemetery with graveside rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will meet friends Wednesday from 5 until 9:00pm and all day Thursday till 9:00pm at the funeral home.
