Mr. John Phillip Conner, age 55, of Ellijay, died, Friday May 11, 2018.

Mr. Conner was born May 17, 1962 in Dawson County the son of the late Luther Tate and Bonnie Rogers Conner. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1980, worked in the construction industry and was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ. He was precede in death by his brother, Wallace Conner.

Survivors include: son; Christopher Tate Conner and his mother; Lori Kristen Valencia of Valley, Al, daughter; Anna Conner Hooper, and her mother; Kathy Pinson Conner, Ellijay, 2 grandchildren, Wesley and Dawson Hooper.

Memorial services will be held Thursday May 17, 2018 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones and Brother Pat Shelton officiating. Music was by Michael Cornett.  Honorary pallbearers were; Rodney Stephens, David Poole, Michael Cornett Wesley Hooper.The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Phillip Conner Memorial Fund @ P.O.
