Jerry H. Southern: Obituary

Mr. Jerry H. Southern age 69 of Ellijay, GA died Sunday September 23, 2018.

 

Mr. Southern was born October 9, 1948 in Gilmer County to the late Eulous and Lemma Bearden Southern. He was a member of the Little Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Frankie Burnett and Shirley Ledbetter; brothers, Bill Southern, Gene Southern and Bobby Southern.

 

Survivors Include: his daughter and son in-law, Mindy and Freddie Crump, of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Mack Southern, of Snellville, GA and Jimmy Southern, of Ellijay, GA; sister, Irene Cox, of Duluth, GA; 2 grandchildren, Hannah Carter and Caleb Crump, both of Ellijay, GA.

 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 26^th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral home with Rev. Jamie Dotson, Tommy Woody and Rev. Roy Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon cemetery with Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday September 25^th from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
