Mrs. Martha Jo Richards age 74, of Ellijay, died Friday September 14, 2018.

Mrs. Martha Jo Richards was born February 6, 1944 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Robert Claude Burnette and Velvia Mae Oliver. She was retired from the textile industry. She was also a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Sons; James and Jackie Richards both of Ellijay, Sister; Mickey Padgett of Ellijay, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 17, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Home with Rev. Glen Arnold Officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday September 16, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
