Mr. Bobby Jones age 78 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday October 18, 2018.

Mr. Jones was born April 26, 1940 in Gilmer County to the late Floyd and Bertha Watkins Jones. He worked as a mechanic for Blue Ridge Carpet and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors Include: his wife, Joyce Chadwick Jones, of the home; son and daughter in-law, Billy and Cynthia Jones; daughters and sons in-law, Lori and Wallace Pierce, Lana and Scott Bradburn; brothers and sisters in-law, Max and Shirley Jones, Lowell and Imogene Jones; sisters and brother in-law, Bertha Manning, Francis and Fred McGill; 7 grandchildren, Kim Pritchett, Ashley Pierce, Nikki (Brandon) Jones, Cassi Sanford, Kati Sanford, Jordyn (Dustin) Dubois and Evan Bradburn; 9 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 20^th at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cantrell, Rev. Paul Richards and Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the River Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday October 19^th from 5pm until 9pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted of donations may be made to the River Hill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund in memory of Mr. Jones.
