Marie Stover Lomax

September 26, 1932 – February 4, 2019

Mrs. Marie Stover Lomax, age 86, of Ellijay died Monday February 4, 2019.

Mrs. Lomax was born, September 26, 1932, in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Will Stover and Ethel Parker Stover. She worked for many years for Piggly Wiggly and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by sons; Tony, Michael and Roger Dale Lomax and brothers; Gus and Jim Stover.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and William Morris, East Ellijay, sister-in-law: Rebie Stover, Ellijay, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet friends Thursday from 10:00am until the funeral hour of 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
