Mrs. Gail Marie Farist Goldin age 67 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday April 18, 2019.

Mrs. Golden was born October 11, 1951 in Gilmer County to the late Grady Cleveland Farist and Ruby Lee Welch Farist. She was a nurse for Gilmer Nursing Home and Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Golden was also a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: her son, Billy Newton, of Ellijay; nephew, Brent Alred, of Ellijay; granddaughter, Kimberly Benefield, of Ellijay.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 20^th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchel Pack officiating. Interment will follow in the East Ellijay Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday April 19^th from 4pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
