On Friday, September 13^th, MVE Celebrated National Apple Day! Students enjoyed tasting several varieties of locally grown apples and apple cider provided by Mrs. Jennifer Futch from R & A Orchards.  Gilmer County Farm Bureau assisted with the event, and provided Agriculture in the Classroom materials.  Special thanks to Gilmer County SNP Director, Linda Waters, and the awesome cafeteria staff at MVE for hosting this event! It is always a blessing to support our local farming community!
