**The Gilmer County Courthouse WILL BE CLOSED on Friday, September 27, 2024 due to the potential of hazardous weather conditions / flooding / power outages.
**The Gilmer County Warming Center located at 1561 South Main Street / Civic Center will be open Thursday evening at 5:30pm until Friday morning at 7am for ANYONE needing shelter. Pets are welcome. A meal and breakfast will be provided. Red Cross will be working with our volunteer staff to address any issues those seeking shelter may have. Enter through the side door by courts.
