Mr. Phillip Joseph Lord age 73 of Parker Rd. Ellijay, GA died Sunday April 22, 2012.

Mr. Lord was born June 6, 1938 in Fulton Co. He worked as an electrician and was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army for 8 years. He was also a member of the East New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Lord is preceded in death by parents, Brothers Jimmy and David Lord,

Survivors Include: Wife: Joyce Chumbler Lord, of the home; Son: Lynn Chumbler, Eagle River Alaska; Daughter: Linda Chumbler, Kennesaw, GA; Grandchildren: Evan Chumbler, Ellijay & Jeremy Adams, Marietta, GA; Brother: Jerry Lord, Blue Ridge, GA; Brothers & Sisters in-law: Estelle & Janice Clayton, Ellijay, Roy Clayton, Ellijay; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 25th at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Clayton, Rev. Danny Hyatt, and Elder Paul Mooney officiating. Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard.

Family will receive friends Tuesday April 24th from 2 p.m. until 9.p.m. at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
