On November 21st, Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jimmy Long conducted a traffic stop on Highway 52 East near Big Creek Road. The stop was initiated because the driver failed to use his turn signal properly. During the initial contact, the driver seemed to be impaired and was asked to complete field sobriety tests.
