The first annual “Fetch Hat Challenge” ended with the Dragon, Jordan Hill, hot under the collar, as the Gilmer Bobcats beat his beloved Pickens Dragons 21-13.The FYN sports news team decided to get into the annual Gilmer/Pickens football game rivalry with some of our fine fetch beat reports. The aforementioned Jordan Hill is the beat reporter for Pickens High School. FYN CEO. Brian K. Pritchard is the beat reporter for Gilmer High School.

The FYN sports team that with the build up for this intense rivalry, that there was fun to be had. The byproduct was the “Fetch Hat Challenge.” Hill and Pritchard would meet at the middle of the field both pre and post game representing his respective team. Who ever represented the losing team would be forced to wear the other team’s hat.

The two representatives even engaged in some lighthearted trash talk via video posted on FYN, ultimately Hill was forced to wear a Gilmer Bobcats hat, much to his chagrin.
