Rosie Fay Hedden, age 92, of East Ellijay died Monday May 7, 2018.

Mrs. Hedden was born May 5, 1926 in Andres, NC the daughter of the late Theodore and Gypsy Rose Birchfield Gibby. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Her parents, husband, Roger Hedden and children Ann Hedden, Herman Hedden and Roger “Bug” Hedden, Jr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law; David and Charlotte Hedden, Ellijay, Marshall Hedden, Chatsworth, daughter and son-in-law: Letha and Bobby Newton, Ellijay daughter-in-law: Dora Mae Hedden, Ellijay, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Emuel Sanford officiating. Interment will be in the East Ellijay Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday at from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
