Mrs. Kristy Michelle Grizzle Mead, age 36, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Mrs. Mead was born July 28, 1981, in Pickens County, she attended Gilmer High School, worked as a cashier for Walmart and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include; , husband; Jerry Mead, daughter; Kennedie Deyton, Blairsville, parents, Kenneth and Paula Grizzle, Ellijay, brothers; Wesley Grizzle, Ranger, Woody Grizzle, Thomaston, Bradley and Matthew Grizzle both of Ellijay, Kevin Estes, Craig, Colorado, sisters; Amanda Keith, Jennifer Curtis, Jacqulyn Grizzle, and Ashley Smith all of Ellijay, special friend; Kim McClure, Aunts ,Uncles, Cousins and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright and Rev. Tony Withrow officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
