Mr. Luther J. Tipton, age 91, of Ellijay, died Monday July 2, 2018.

Mr. Tipton was born October 30, 1926, in Lumpkin County the son of the late Everett and Etta Beard Tipton. He was a truck driver.

Survivors is grandson; Freddie Hamilton, Chatsworth, sister; Mary Ruth Green, Ellijay, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wed. at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 12noon until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
