Take a look at for the past 7 years, including the 2017 proposed expenditure increase of $1.9M.
It’s interesting to note that the politically unpopular austerity management in 2012 drastically reduced our expenditures, but under new management the Board has approved major increases nearly every year.
While we hear the familiar refrain of mandated salary increases, increases in health and pension costs, what else is driving this major increase? Is there any end to these increases?
