Mrs. Joyce L. Pendley, age 69, of Ellijay, died Friday, December 7, 2018

Mrs. Pendley was born, May 12, 1949, in Shoal Creek, NC, the daughter of the late Claude Roy and Hester Lola Stiles Dillard. She was a housewife and member of the Lighthouse of Jesus Church. Her husband Edward Pendley preceded her in death.

Survivors include: sons and daughters in law; Johnny and Diane Fowler, Jamie and Judy Fowler, Jody and Tonya Fowler all of Ellijay, daughters and son in laws: Margie and Willie Tatum, Sherry Abernathy all of Ellijay, Tabitha and Clint Turpin, Jasper 14 grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren, brother: James Rich, Murphy, NC

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt funeral Home with Brother Howard Hightower and Brother James Rich officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 11 until 8:00pm and all day Monday till 8:00pm at the funeral home.
