Fannie Mae Patterson Sanford

Mrs. Fannie Mae Patterson Sanford, age 76, of Ellijay, died Tuesday January 22, 2019.

Mrs. Sanford was born, June 11, 1946, in Fannin County, the daughter of the late Clinton and Opal Rogers Patterson. She worked in the textile industry. Her husband John Sanford preceded her in death.

Survivors include: sons; Marvin Patterson, Ellijay and Randy Allen, Ellijay, 1 grandson Cody Allen, brothers; A.D. Patterson, Mineral Bluff, Frank Patterson, Blue Ridge, sisters: Barbara Ware, Blue Ridge, Wanda Cole, Blue Ridge and Debra Patterson, Blue Ridge.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 5 until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 5 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
