Fred A. Woody

February 25, 1960 – January 28, 2019

Mr. Fred A. Woody, age 58, of Ellijay, died Monday, January 28, 2019.

Mr. Woody was born February 25, 1960 in Gilmer County, the son of the late, James Henry and Pernell Mashburn Woody. He worked in the textile industry and attended the Church of God. He is preceded in death by sisters and brother Eva Mae Woody, Barbara Ann Woody, Jennifer Denise Woody, Shirley Maney Leon Woody.

Survivors include: sisters and brother-in-law; Kathy and Edger Carringer, Betty and James Reeves, Shelia and Ricky Dunn all of Ellijay, Debbie and Dave Chadwick, Jasper.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Maney officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 1:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
