Mr. Ronnie Wayne Patterson age 61 of Ellijay, GA died Friday March 1, 2019.

Mr. Patterson was born March 6, 1957 in Alabama. He worked for the City of Ellijay street department as a Supervisor and was a member of the Oak Hill Independent Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse J. Patterson.

Survivors Include: his wife, Dale Akins Patterson, of Ellijay, GA; mother, Mary Collier, of Oregon; sons and daughter in-law, Steven and Victoria Patterson, of Pooler, GA, Dusty and Brenda Patterson, of Epworth, GA; daughter, Rhonda Patterson, of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Mark and Jerry Patterson, both of Alabama; sisters, Rita Garner, of Dallas, GA and Billy Jean McMahan, of Oregon; half-sisters, Belvie McKoon, of Neman, GA, Bobbie Gilmore, of Carrollton, GA and Diane Jones, of Carrollton, GA; 3 grandchildren, Caitlin Barnett, Allee Nicholls and Collin Nicholls, all of Ellijay, GA; great grandchildren, Soren and Cayde Barnett.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday March 3rd at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Ledford, Rev. James Akins and Rev. Phillip Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 2nd from 6pm until 9pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or the family request donations be made to the Piedmont Transplant of Atlanta in memory of Mr. Patterson.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
