Vera E. Champion

Mrs. Vera E. Champion age 74 of Talking Rock died Monday May 20, 2019.

Mrs. Champion was born October 16, 1944, in Blue Ridge, the daughter of the late Earl and Artie Stiles Dillard. She was a homemaker and member of the Ludville Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include; husband, Wilbur Champion, sons; Allen Champion, Ellijay, Roger Champion, Talking Rock, Don Champion, Calhoun, step son, Gerald Champion, Ellijay, step-daughter; Sandra Mullins, Ellijay, brothers Harold Dillard, Ellijay, Reid Dillard, Talking Rock, sisters; Geneva Watkins, Ellijay, Wilma Fountain, Ellijay, Lucille Pendley Jasper, 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1; 00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Sister Annette Cross officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 2:00pm until 8:00p at the funeral home.
