Mrs. Garlene Vick Buckner, age 58 of Ellijay died Thursday December 19, 2019.

Mrs. Buckner was born, May 21, 1961, in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Garvin Vick and Marlene Trammell Hendrix. She worked as an operator for Engineered Floors of Dalton and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: Husband; Jimmy Buckner, Step-mother: Mary Vick, Son and Daughter-in-law: Daniel and Stacey Buckner, Ellijay, Brothers and Sister-in-law; Ashley Cordell, Ellijay, Alan and Dondra Hendrix, Calhoun, Sisters; Tammy Richards, Ellijay, Brenda Hendrix, Ranger, Grandchildren; Haley, Cody, Emmie and Olivia Buckner, Erika Winkler, Great Grandchildren; Jaley Pruett, Jayden Pruett.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright and Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will be in the Berean Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
