The Gilmer Bobcats couldn’t get anything going on Friday night against North Hall, falling to the Trojans, 47-6.

After the loss, Gilmer moves to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the region. The Bobcats will face West Hall this Friday at home and will look to pick up their first region win of the Paul Standard era. West Hall also sits at 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the region, so both teams will be vying to creep out of last place.

As for Region 7 AAA as a whole, Cherokee Bluff, North Hall and Dawson County are all yet to lose a Region game. Dawson and Cherokee Bluff face off this Friday, a game all 7AAA fans will have their eyes on.
