The Gilmer High School Bobcats wrestling team traveled to Parkview High School, home of the Panthers, to take part in the Parkview Duals. The “Cats” claimed first place with a one point 35-34 victory over Woodland in the Finals.Originally the “Cats” was set to face Eastside on the mats; however, due to a cancellation by the Eagles the “Cats” first faced the hosting Panthers.

The “Cats” on “Cats” crime saw Gilmer pulverize Parkview 54-20. Next the Bobcats beat up on Social Circle, winning 35-24.

After demolishing Union Grove, 45-21, the “Cats” faced Woodland in the Final, winning by the slimmest of margins to take first place at the Parkview Duals.
