Mr. Harold McClure age 80 of Talking Rock, died Sunday, September 1,2019.

Mr. McClure was born October 12, 1938 in Gilmer County, the son of the late, Rubin Lester and Nilla Thompson McClure.  He was retired from Pilgrims and was of the Baptist Faith. His parents; wife; Ellen Esterlene Ledford McClure, ands siblings, Efford, Ardell, and  Homer McClure, Vercil Parker, Viola Walker, Lona Garland and Zennia McDougal, preceded him in death.

Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law; Donna and Waldo Pierce, Jan and Randy Westbrook all of Talking Rock, brothers; Price McClure and Harvey McClure both of Ellijay, sister in law; Ora Lee McClure, Dalton, brother-in-law; Sam McDougal, Huntsville, AL,  grandson and spouse; Kirk and Macey Pierce, and great granddaughter; Averi Ellen Pierce.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 5 until 9 pm at the funeral home.
