Defra J. Black

Mrs. Defra J. Black, age 77 of Ellijay died Friday May 17, 2019.

Mrs. Black was born, June 12, 1941 in Alabama. She was a homemaker Her parents, husband, Clifford Black, and children; Norman Black, Alvin Black, and Jean Sigers preceded her in death..

Survivors include: sons; John Black, Canton, James Black, Wally Black, and Larry Black all of Ellijay, sister; Linda Frazer 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 4 until 9 pm at the funeral home.

Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
