Fay Starks Lock

Mrs. Fay Starks Lock, age 80, of Ellijay, died Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Mrs. Lock was born August 5, 1938, in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Willie and Carrie Mae Spivey Starks. She was a graduate Gilmer High School, Class of 1957, and worked as a bus driver for Gilmer County Board of Education for 30 years. Fay was member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Her parents, husband; Gerald Lock, sons, Billy Lock, Ken Lock, sister; Patti Hembree, brother; John Starks preceded her in death.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law; Debbie and Jeff Dooley, Ellijay, daughters-in-law; Janine Lock, Dallas, Angie Lock, Ellijay, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. James Holt and Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 4 until 9 pm at the funeral home.
