Josephine Davis

Miss Josephine Davis, age 69, of Ellijay died, Sunday May 19, 2019.

Miss Davis was born April 2, 1950 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Grady and Violet Buchanan Davis. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School Class of 1968, worked many years as office manager for Dr. Schneider and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include: son: Joe Davis, Ellijay, sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Wayne Burgess, Ellijay, niece, Melissa Vasquez, Ellijay and special friend Casper.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 23, 2019 at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Burgess and Rev. Ricky Brown officiating. Music by Teresa Chastain and Layton Green. Pallbearers were; Matthew Richards, Bernabe Vasquez, Brandon Linthicun, Michael Henson, Chris Henson and Mathew Burgess. Interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 3 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
