Mrs. Edith Vestie Davenport Stanley age 91, of Talking Rock, died Friday July 12, 2019.

Mrs. Stanley was born June 27, 1928 in Fannin County the daughter of the late Samuel and Rosa Lee Davenport. She was a homemaker and member of the New Antioch Baptist Church.  Her parents, husband, Calvin Coolidge Stanley, daughter, Brenda Rose Mulkey, granddaughter, Jessica Mulkey, 5 sisters and 5 brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law; Arlecia and Steven Andrews, Talking Rock, sons; Charles, Don and Eddie Stanley all of Talking Rock, sister;’ Effie Davis, Summerville, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm from the New Antioch Baptist Church in Blue Ridge with Rev. Phillip Green officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
