Mrs. Florence Walls Davis age 78, of Ellijay, died Thursday, July 18, 2019.

Mrs. Davis was born, November 5, 1940, in Whitfield County the daughter of the late Marion Samuel and Dora Thompson Walls. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Chatsworth.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Jimmy Davis, son, Donald Walls, grandchildren; Steven Walls, Dakota Pritchett, Lane Adams, siblings, Ruth, Marie, Mitchell and Pauline, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Arvil and Roma Davis.

Survivors include: children; Rhonda (Chad) Lathem, Jasper, James Ernie (Candy) Davis, Ellijay, grandchildren; Bradley Barnes, Ashley(Jesse) Adams, Ruth Ann (David)Pritchett, Felicia (Johnathan) Pressley, Natasha Walls, Tyler Davis, Cheyanne (Tyler) Shook, Victoria Bright, Gregory (Kiara) Lathem, Christina Lathem, Justin (Katie) Duvall, Taylor (Malyk) Duvall, great-grandchildren; Tristan, Colby, McKenzie, Bryan, Caleb, Riley, Blake, Carter, Camo, Cali, Josyah, Sadie, Breanna, Jackson, Chevy, Brantley, Teigan, Heivan, Ivy and Rowan, siblings; Hilda Stanfield, Calhoun, Dorothy Colwell, Dalton, Mickey Ledford, Chatsworth,  Sam Walls, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold, Rev. John Baptist and Rev. Edmund Kilgore officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
