Mrs. Dorothy L. Granberry age, 83 of Ellijay, died, Thursday August 1, 2019.

Mrs. Granberry was born September 25, 1935, in Cherokee Co. the daughter of the late Homer and Nellie Parker Pritchett. She was a homemaker and member of the Rose Creek Baptist Church in Woodstock.

Survivors include: husband, William (Bill) Granberry, children; Ricky McKinzie, Ellijay, Eddie McKinzie, Canton, Dorothy Hendricks and June Grizzle both of, Ellijay, brother; Jerry Pritchett, Canton, 11 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 12noon from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev.Alan Tarr officiating.  Inurnment will be at 3:00 pm in the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 11:00 am until 12 noon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Mrs. Granberry.
