Miss Heather Layne Retterbush, age 34, of Hapeville, Ga died August 1, 2019.

Miss Retterbush was born August 20, 1984 in Valdosta, GA, She was graduate of Valdosta State University, and employed by the State of Georgia as a Business Analyst.

Survivors include: father, Billy (Wanda) Retterbush, mother; Anna McGill (Linda Jo Thomas), brother; Shad (Lera) Starling, sisters; Starla (Jason) Stone, Rhiannon (Derick) Kistler, step-sisters: April Simmons, Shanna Barfield.

Fathers family,  grandmother, Jean Retterbush Deas, uncles and aunts, David (Denise) Retterbush, Janet (Wayne) Guerke, Mark (Melissa) Retterbush, Lisa (Dave) Stratman, Blake (Angie) Retterbush, John (Ruthann) Retterbush, cousins Patrick Retterbush, Aaron Retterbush, Lisa Shelton, Ashley Stratman, Ryan Stratman, Kevin, Stratman, Christy Stratman, Christopher Retterbush, Jonathan Retterbush, William Retterbush,III and Amanda Dennis.

Mothers family, aunt: Donna (Gene) Malmstrom, nieces and nephews, Shane Starling,, Christopher Kiraly, Daniel Gulchuk, Vlada Eve Starling, cousins, Christian (Monique) Mata, Gabriel Mata-Ruiz, Raven Mata, Violet Mata, Juliette Mata, Jesse White, and Liam Senters.

She is preceded in death by grandparents; , William C. Retterbush, Lois Retterbush, Ona and Fred McGill, aunt, Shannon McGill.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Janet Guerke and other family and friends speaking.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
