Mr. Stephen A. Brothers, age 53, of Ellijay, died Monday, September 2, 2019.

Mr. Brothers was born April 20, 1966, in Cobb County, Georgia the son of Jane Tolbert Brothers and the late Rev. Clayton Brothers. He worked in construction and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Stephen was an outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. His father and sister Mary Katherine Floyd preceded him in death.

Survivors include: mother Jane Brothers, brother; Tim Brothers, sisters and brothers in-law; Becki and Paul Taylor, Rachael and Tony Pittman. Nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Brothers and Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Take’Em Outdoors 1141 Cottage Ave. Green Bay, WI 54313 in memory of Mr. Brothers.
