Mr. Herbert Steve Griggs age, 60 of Dalton died, Tuesday September 10, 2019.

Mr. Griggs was born December 8, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN the son of Herbert and Joan Brock Griggs. He was a high school graduate and worked in the textile industry.

His sisters, Tammy Johnson, Kelly Plumley, grandparents; Glen and Yode Griggs, John and Maxine Brock preceded him in death.

Survivors include: wife Teresa McCoy Griggs, children; Megan, Sky and Haley Griggs, step son; Randy Baker, Jr, 5 grandchildren;  father and mother; Herbert and Joan Griggs, Dalton, brother and sister-in-law; Patrick and Crystal, Griggs, NC, Tony and Wanda Griggs, Dalton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 5:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pat Burnett speaking. Interment will be in the Ballew cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 3 until 5 pm at the funeral home.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
