Mr. Jerry D. DeBoard, age 70, of Ellijay, died Sunday, December 15, 2019.

Mr. DeBoard was born May 4, 1949 in Gilmer County the son of the late Ernest and Reathel Stover DeBoard. He was employed by The Sisson Company as a truck driver.

Survivors include; brothers; Joey DeBoard, and Johnny DeBoard both of Ellijay, sisters; Ruby Sellers and Jearldean Conner both of Ellijay, Fiancée; Kathy West, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Stover and Pastor Wendell Stover officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet at the Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
